gather your family
to have the vital conversation about care
If we begin planning early, we can save our families a lot of unnecessary stress. If you’re getting older, or your parents are, gather your family to have the vital conversation about care. These two questions can help you get started:
Question 1: What is our family’s plan for meeting our future caregiving needs?
What will we need in five, ten, or twenty years? Will we need to hire someone to help? Can we afford the care we want?
Question 2: What joys could getting older and caring for one another bring?
How could caregiving bring our family, friends, and/or community closer together?
The more we talk about this, the easier it gets. Share your answers to the questions above for a chance to be featured in the paperback edition of The Age of Dignity.
